My experience with this adventure was the same as with all the others, i lioved it i love any kind of mental or imagery relaxation methods and i would definately reccommend it to others as a tool for controlling stress and managing anxiety. i think th concept of mental workout is to allow your mind to take you to a place were you find happiness and peace and if you can mentally put your body into the place you allow your mind to go, one then can have control over how relaxed they can become and control your stress levels by visiting places and imageries of calming stress free illusions.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate myself as follows; Physical wellbeing, I rate myself a 10. I say this because I really take the time to take care of myself in the physical at least. I eat healthy, drink lots of water, don't smoke, exercise 6-7 days a week at 2 to 3 hours a day. I add flexability training, cardiovascular training, and strenght training. Spiritualitwellbeing, I would have to rate myself around 8. Although I am pretty grounded in what I believe in, and now who and who's I am, I still have room for improvement in this area, and I believe I will until i die, but I get better and better each year. Finally, my Psychological wellbeing I would have to rate myself somewhere around a 6. If I needed to work on any of these areas, this would be the one. I think I could do more meditation and relaxation techniques a lot more on a regualr basis and this would tremendously help me in the are of psychological wellbeing. I think that's my new goal. As far as the cd, I LOVED IT. On my god this imagination and relaxation technique are amazing. I find this type relaxation benefical in every way, I didn't see anything frustrating about it, except I couldn't do it everytime I needed too:) ( at work!)

Welcome post

Hello professor and classmates. I am looking forward to many discussions with everyone on this blog spot. With this said, My experience wih the journey on relaxation audio video was absolutely amazing. i didn't realize the power in allowing the mind to relax. With each breath I was ableto feel my body relax and I could totally feel ho the breaths were helping to pull blood into my arms. I was really amazed by how I could control what my arms were feeling by forcing all the oxygen flow to that particular area. It truly made it hard for me to lift my arms, once i allowed my concentration to go to that particular area. I was so amazed by this exercise until I shared it with my yoga class that I teach at church and they loved it.
